What is the best thing that has ever happened to you?

Recently I came across a post where someone asked, what is the best thing that has ever happened to you? I started reading the replies given to it. Few of the replies were like "Meeting their soulmate", "Approval of Visa for USA", "Getting into a dream college", "Promoted as VP", "Entering Parenthood" etc.

When I questioned myself the same thing, I was wondering what I've achieved to say. Or say I didn't do anything great or achieved anything that great where I can truly say, "Yes! This was the best". The only thing which truly happened best to me is, I born in this family and I got parents like them.

No parents in this world leaves no stone unturned in upbringing of their child. My parents did the same. Apart from schooling, college and all, they helped me to grow as a better person. They always stood together in my difficult times. Whether it is a failure in school, college or failure in interviews or failure in relationship. They never taught me to discriminate. That's why I still struggle to understand why people fight over religion.

I can never forget whatever things they did for me. I remember one instance, My 1st ever National karate tournament was there and I had to get up early at 4 coz my train was their. My dad woke me up at 3.50 and said to get ready. As I entered into the kitchen I saw that Mom and dad prepared snacks for me Egg Cutlet, boiled eggs and Tumeric milk. I got to know that they woke up at 3 to prepare all this for me.

I still remember my dad used to bring eggs for me when I've joined gym. He used to give me milk with raw eggs mixed before going to gym. And after coming home boiled eggs for me. He also used to share jokes with me like a friend (bad jokes too). He was more than a friend. My mom always there by my side. I'm nothing less than a Hero for her. She always used to wake up before me and prepare tiffin for me when I was in Morning shifts. She even used to wait for me to have dinner when I was late shifts.

My parents gave me everything. Supported in all my decisions. Stayed strong besides me. Given much freedom in my life. Taught me to respect every individual. Taught me to help others. Taught me that bad phase never stays for long. Never breakdown believe in yourself, After darkest of night, bright Sun is waiting for you welcoming you.

Theirs a never ending list of what best they did for me. One life is not enough to list down everything. I can proudly say that THE BEST THING EVER HAPPENED IN MY LIFE IS MY PARENTS.

WOMEN ARE PRICELESS

She wakes up by 5 am and will move straight to the kitchen. She would join morning devotion by 5:30 am. Start preparing kids by 6:00 am, serve everybody food by 7 am, takes the kids to school and move to her office by 8 am.

She ends up working whole day, fighting as same as u do. Start washing of clothes and cooking dinner by 9 pm. Serve dinner by 9.30 pm. Start home work for kids by 8-9 pm. Discuss your busy schedule with you and catch fun so that you will be in the mood and have a sound sleep and also gives you sex even though you never feels to have it.

It's you who bleeds blood every month with severe pains and crams. Even in those pains, you still have to put things together for a normal day. It's you who carry another human inside you for 9 months. The inconvenience, the discomfort, the sacrifice, and carefulness. You sacrifice what makes you happy just to keep another life healthy.

When it's time to deliver, your life is on the line. It's a 50/50 chance for you. You may live and you may die. But being the life-giver you are, you will choose the life of a new stranger over yours. Even the process is not favorable to you. Either the pains of childbirth or surgery.

After it all, you still carry yourself up and continue life activities with bandage and pains. But what is miraculous about this all is the smile you put on your face while facing all this.

Men as a son, husband we rarely respect what our mother, wife do for us. We sleep like a king. Wake up as a king. Order as a king. And if anything goes wrong we get angry like a king.

Few people don't respect the ladies in our lives. Sometimes I feel nature is unfair to you. But you are a miracle.
May God bless every woman out there.
Good women are to be celebrated.

Thanks to my Mother my Sister my friend who still tolerates me and thinks I'm a child being I'm 30. Your heart will always keep me like a child and hope I could do something better for you someday.
